It just goes to prove that this show is most likely 80% bullsh!t and 20% reality. It's a crime to throw a stillborn fetus in the trash. She'd be arrested for that ~ rehab or no rehab.

I would think the statute of limitations has expired by now. She was grieving and not in her right mind, no one would throw her in jail for something like that.

It probably happens a lot more than people would think. Unless you personally bury the baby or get to a hospital in time, what else do people do that are in bad circumstances, drug/alcohol addicts, grief-stricken, maybe not all there to begin with, etc. Not that I'm condoning the action, but it was a sad story and tough reality that is maybe fairly common.
What the hell was she supposed to do? Most women who have stillborn children at home throw the fetus away. It's not a child at that point, the fetus is dead, it's medical waste.
I can't see ANYONE getting arrested for that.
It's against the law if there is an identifiable baby. At 4 months it's fully formed. You cant throw it in the garbage, unless you're a total lowlife. It doesn't matter what she thought what she was supposed to do with it. Ordinarily she would go and have a D&C done at a clinic or hospital.
