In spite of the show getting some bad press and the ill advised and highly addicted thinking that he show itself has helped to kill a few people the show w showed the ugliness of addiction and a brilliant man's way of dealing with those who are/were self-destructive. I would love to see Nick Stahl as a patient in the show. It would be great.
shareI liked the show. I loved Jeff the guy from grease....and Adler, the drummer from gnr. Dr drew is a moron n doesn't know *beep* about addiction besides what he's read in text books but loved the show
shareI have a soft spot for the show. I loved Sean Young and Steven Adler, hated Amy Fisher and that chick who wanted juice when she wanted it. Drew Pinsky clearly exploited these people and made outrageous statements to up the drama quotient, but based on what I've read from him, he does know a thing or two about addiction. I just shook my head when he barged into a hospital ER nurses' station and told the nurses not to give one of his patients any opiates.
