This film is a must see. Hal is at the top of his game in this movie. He definetely deserves an Academy nomination.

indeed. very cool how he didn't try make it too easy for the audience to see his side of things. gutsy.

I just saw the movie and I agree completely. An honest, heartfelt, gutsy performance from Holbrook.

There are no problems that cannot be solved with a can of brake clean and a lighter

Check out "The Florentine". Holbrook turns in a stellar performance as an elderly barfly. When he delivers the soliloquy on how he lost his young wayward wife his talents really shine.
