What year do the previous Creed movies take place?

This movie appears to definitively take place in 2020, and Adonis apparently retired in 2017. Where exactly does that leave the timeline of the last two movies? I previously assumed that they both took place the year they were released, but it seems that can’t be the case now, especially since Adonis’ daughter seems to at least be kindergarten age here, when she was an infant in the last one.
