Olivia

What did people make of Olivia's quite bizarre statements regarding the actual moment of George's death.

I'm going from memory now but it was something like "for anyone in the room at that moment you would not need a camera to light the room"

What it sounded like she was implying to me was a bright huge light appeared and took George's soul away or something?

Was she being serious here and asking us to buy this actually happened or what?

reply

My impression was she meant HIS SOUL was the bright radiance that showed when his soul left his body. Actually, I have read of this happening other times, described by people present at the death of someone who was a spiritually advanced person.

She must have been on some drug.

You people are all unenlightened morons. To say that someone would make a joke out of the last moment of their loved one's life is not only disrespectful, it demonstrates how totally ignorant you are of all matters that pertain to spirituality, life and death.

You are the only person speaking any sense and compassion on this appalling thread! jeepers Olivia had to fight a dangerous maniac and nurse George through terminal cancer but all she get is stupid comment like the above

Yes, that's what I'm taking it as. I'd have kind of liked to have seen that myself.

Hard to tell what one can believe anymore.

I know that practitioners of Transcendental Meditation claim that they can levitate although I've yet to see one accomplish it or even film it.

Doesn't take anything away from his ability to write great songs.

(on a different note Yoko Ono thinks John ACTUALLY saw a man on a flaming pie so sometimes I guess widows want to elevate their spouses' memory alittle and you can't fault them too much for that I guess)
