Comedy?

Hotstar mentioned this was a comedy so was watching with kids and realized this has nothing to do with comedy. It's a sort of thriller/dark genre. Then at the end when the unexpected event happens in the house at the hands of the girl, it went overboard.

The movie itself is just ok imo. Many things reminded me of No Country For Old Men, especially the setup and the accident.

Overall, it was just average. The acting was pretty decent and the girl is pretty and likely has more career. The lead guy (father) is also in other movies and is quite decent in acting. Rest were meh.

Not quite sure what the point of the movie as such is tbh. The situation could've been handled differently but it wasn't.
