The Subway Train is Russian!

This will only make sense to people from Russia. Did you notice that the subway train they used in the beginning of the movie is actually Russian?! Here are some screen shots:

This movie has a lot of Russian context, but I don't understand why they would use a Russian subway train in a scene at Grand Central station in New York City. There were no scenes in the movie that took place in Russia, so I don't even know how they got that train!

They filmed the movie in Bulgaria. They probably have Russian manufactured trains there still in use.

I also was shocked and amazed to see the tube train definitely looking same as we have in Moscow and made in the USSR/Russia. Thou the tube platform looked like New York. So after I found here that the movie was filmed partially in Sofia, I suggested that there are still Soviet/Russian tube cars used but I don't get about tube platform - which one they used, in New York or Sofia??
