Only one slight problem

I thought the movie was great, really good insight into the trainee life of a tomcat driver, but for *beep* sake, why say half way through

"U.S Navy pilots are the only pilots in the world who takeoff and land on cariers by both night and day"

First off, the UK Fleet Air Arm do it, and they have to hover onto the flight deck in a Harrier, what about the russians, or the french?? I get so fed up with directors who cant even look on google to double check their facts, and unfortunately we see FAR too much of it in american productions

The French and Russians do not do arrested landings at night, and the UK Fleet Air Arm doesnt do arrested landings period.
