Hallmark, what's up with the music??!!

Dear Hallmark, I appreciate that you make family-friendly movies with solid actors and feel-good themes. But why, for the love of God, do you feel the need to have music running in the background during an entire 2 hour movie??? I have noticed this in several Hallmark movies and not only is it a huge distraction, but it sometimes drowns out the voices and makes me want to give up on the movie entirely. My daughter and I have always enjoyed watching movies like this one together, but it's gotten to the point that she will walk out of the room if we are 15 minutes in and the music is still playing. This movie was a good one, but I was painfully aware of the music throughout. Does anyone have any idea why Hallmark does this?

It's some kind of canned music they use in every one of the lighthearted "humorous" plots and it's sickening, it ruins them. This movie is actually half serious so to play that in the background is undermining the drama and making it all seem goofy. They should try playing NO music in some scenes, and let the movie become one of the more better ones but of course that can't be done in the plots that have Santa living with a family, or Santa's kid saving Christmas......

I have complained about this on other threads. The music is so loud and blaring, it drowns out the dialogue.

In Signed Sealed and Delivered, they were in a quiet park, and first screeching birds started, then loud music on top of that..

I wish I knew where to write to tell Hallmark, to tone it down...way down.

I guess it's like looking at clouds. You see one thing and I see another. Peace.

The loud music has gotten to be a common practice on all shows/movies on all the channels. Hawaii Five-0 seems to be the worst. Sometimes it's impossible to understand what they are saying because the music is so loud.

I caught the dialogue in this movie. But Hallmark's music can be a bit insistent at times. I can't remember too much of the music to this one. But in some of their more plaintive movies, there is a tinkly piano music that just doesn't stop.
