Oh damn, and there's always clues in the photo. Here's what I've come up with: Bernie puts his drink down on that shelf in the back. It spills and starts a fire inside the fax machine that will run up that telephone-wire looking thing...and then a shark jumps out of the water and eats him!

Also notice the camera underneath the fax machine, filming it all.

Go read the ultimate series and you will see Nick Fury is based off of his likeness.
I hope you didn't base your opinion off of his brief cameo.

In the updated marvel comics the new nick fury is modeled after Samuel so it's only fitting that he'd play him in the films.

It's b/c they both saw screeners of the film and died from it sucking so bad.

Samuel L. was able to cope since he'd been through 'Deep Blue Sea'.
