I felt all warm and tingly for my late idol BERNIE MAC. And sad for Isaac but especially the MAC.

I miss Bernie, i felt like him dying i lost a big part of me. my friends think im obsessed but i truly did look up to this guy.

reply

No, but I do miss Bernie Mac.

Don't debate the ignorant...make fun of them instead.

Its a strange fact that they both died one day after the other

I was definitely tearing up after the Bernie Mac tribute. You can tell it was put together with a lot of love. I thought the special feature when he stood onstage entertaining the extras that was one of his best stand-up acts, ever.

RIP Mr. Mac

The tribute to Isaac Hayes was nice too. It was touching to see him hear the adulation from the crew and actors and see how much everyone appreciates him. It's great when people get their proper respect while they are alive and can enjoy it. Better than getting a lot of awards and commendations after they die.

No two persons ever watch the same movie.

I was choked up.

I didn't know Issac was in it until he appeared. I sure thought this was a funny movie, then seeing them in a scene together I got depressed.

I thought the tribute was really nice. I lost it though when Isaac started singing "Never Can Say Goodbye".

Me too. I had forgotten what a great tune that was, and his updated version was just perfection for the mood and meter of this film.

Man I miss 'em both. Isaac was a genius, and Bernie was a gent; a hilarious and a most accommodating soul. And both of them were national treasures as far as I’m concerned.

On the verge throughout the whole movie, then the tribute pushed me farther, and then Isaac's rendition of Never Can Say Goodbye made the waterworks flow. RIP Mac and Isaac. Damn, it's sad they're gone. :`( It's going to be a few more years before I can watch this movie again.

I didn't cry, but I did realize what talents had been lost. They will both be greatly missed.
