Extraordinarily Well Made Film

The production of this film must have been a total disaster, as I am sure that none of those great cast would have signed on for a straight-to-video film, but nonetheless, it turned out pretty solid.

This is an extraordinarily well made film with excellent production values.

The score music is truly excellent, especially in the beginning. The whole production is extremely slick all the way around. Or, at least it is until about an hour into it when the viewer has grown really, really tired of every scene being from a hand held camera. Some of the later dialog scenes are annoying because you can't even see 50% of the head of the actor that is speaking, it is just zoomed in on his right cheek and wobbling back and forth so you can sometimes tell if he has hair or not.

Some of the songs thrown into the last part of the film are incredibly cheesy, but the score itself is good.

This wasn't written by Shakespeare, but it does have all the elements Hollywood is known for: drugs, guns, death, and a hooker with a heart of gold.

As far as crime movies go, this is better than most. Watch it for free if you can.
