No but really she gives away her cat to her friend before moving in with Jaime because he claims he's allergic. Okay fine. But something about that little conversation She had with her friend bothered me. Her friend seems to warn her that a man who doesn't like animals is... no good/a bad seed/ somewhat strange ... Valérie of course defends him claiming it's the allergies and waves of the warning.
BUT
This isn't the first time I've heard this. I've even had people/ family warn be about men who don't like animals. That I should stay away, that there's something wrong etc. So what's up with this??? It's like just because a guy isn't an animal lover he has to have a mental disorder and/or emotional issues. Any truth in this? IDk. Yeah sure Jaime turns out to be loco but he's just a character what about in reality?

In a very small nutshell...its about compassion.

And no, they don't mean that people (men) who don't like animals have something clinically wrong with them.
