Portuguese Involvement

Hello everyone. I just wanted to know if there is any mention through the movie of the Portuguese troops present in Timor when the invasion took place? And of the many Portuguese settlers who lived there (who still live there) and were killed in 1975-1999? Also, is there any mention of Portugal, it's past actions or it's powerless position facing the Indonesian invasion in this movie? (besides the brief reference the opening credits, I mean)

It's not just Australia that has wronged Timor. My country, Portugal, has some very serious skeletons in the closet.

Altough a big part of Timor getting it's independence was accomplished by Portuguese international pressure. Portugal only "woke up to the situation" when it was too late.

I saw an interview the other day of a Portuguese journalist who teamed with the Balibo five for a few days (including when they set the provisional embassy) and departed them a day before they where killed.

This movie has not premiered in Portugal yet, I am confident it will in the next few days.
