Just a cheap waste of time.
So here we are with a rip off film of Supersize Me. It makes no bones about doing the same deal with the difference about getting high.
Personally, I don't care either way for the pros or the cons, I wanted to be entertained. This film really offers nothing of value here.
The lead it it is unfunny at best and all we see is dilated eyes and a slurring of words - but - he's still the same guy.
The kicker here, is that you could assume that he already is so whacked out by what he's done over the years the before and the after tests from at least the mental point of view were always going to be the same - still his choice.
It gives an odd snapshot of celebs that we know ( as I'd never heard of this guy ) sitting around tables getting high or drunk after shows. What was nice is that you got to see for a very few moments some people in situitions that you would not normally see.
When he was high, I expected a little more then what we got - this is not the worst film I have ever seen - but just a waste.
I would also have expected some withdrawal symptoms during the 30 days. Clearly not.
There was an ideal chance here to speak about the rogue cop that was shutting down the medical centres, that was touched on but with lots of views of people behind police lines that was about it. So much more potential wasted...
