it just seemed like the serious romantic version of blades of glory. and the guy looked just like ashton kutcher..

but blades of glory came out before cutting edge 3

They parodied the Pamchecko move which was first done in the first Cutting Edge movie, and then again in the third one.

You mean the couple from the first movie were Jackie's parents? Wow, man... I need to watch the first one. Well, it makes sense since Jackie was in the third movie... whoops.

Yeah supposedly, although Christy Romano/Jackie is far older than 16 yrs old. (The original "Cutting Edge" was set between 1988-1992, when it was released.) Still I would recommend watching the original movie, if you can find it.

Hehe, well, ABC Family always has marathon weekends and whatnot - I'm sure I can catch it in the near future. =P But thanks!
