Just like in the previous movies, why do the ice skating pairs live together during practice? In this movie, it seems as though they live in the same city so why are they living together?

to cut down on comuting time. every minute counts when training. the time it takes to commuite, even if it is only a few minutes can be used for something else. personally if i were training like that i would want my bed close to where it was that i was training.

shareAll good points, but it was really just to move the story along. There's time together, and TOO much time together.
But of course, hockey skaters can learn to be figure skaters in a few weeks, and win the Nationals in a month after teaming up. ;>
(and yet, I'm still a sucker for these movies!)
Well, probably because they need to spend more time together so they can be more close and so they won't be curious with each other on and off Ice.
