Why is there only 3 sorority members?

If you were paying attention, there were more than three girls in the beginning of the movie.

There was the three girls that were killed, the main one, as well as the ghost and her shapeshift form of "Jane" and there were other girls in the beginning, you know, when they lined up. Because of the murder of Rachel, all of the unimportant girls went home because the sorority house wasn't deemed safe. The main girl couldn't get a ride until the following day, "Jane" was there and the blonde girl.

The three girls were the only ones that mattered, as well as the three that died. All of the extras were nameless and gone after the death of Rachel.

I know you asked this over a year ago, but Leslie, Amanda and Rachel were just the pledgemasters, meaning they were in charge of the pledges during their hell week and until the point of initiation. The girls briefly seen during the party scene were most likely some of the other girls in the sorority :)
