shareThey were left in there to sleep for the night. They were directed to be in bed asleep by 10:30 I believe, and then some point during the night woken up and brought to spend at least 6 or more hours to sleep in the coffin for the remainder of the night.

You're thinking of Jenna, not Leslie. And Jenna didn't actually die. As for how Leslie died, it's not clear that she did, either.
shareim pretty sure that jenna made it so leslie didnt die. Leslie is going through the same "not all the way dead" thing as jenna. Remember when jennas ghost tells sam she wants leslie to go through what she did and she wants her to feel her own embalming... well i guess even though she spared sam and her friends she didnt spare leslie :( at least thats spencers theory in the end.

No, I think it's implied that she didn't......they wheeled her out in a body bag at the end, but Oliver's last line was that "Leslie may not be completely dead". And Jena talked about how she wanted Leslie to go through what she did, where she's still kind of alive during the wake and embamlming.
