I was afraid that after Lily brought him home, that the food with the rat poison was still there and he would eat it :(. I was like go find that food and dump it and wash the bowl real good... don't let him eat the poison

Westies are awesome dogs! I've had two of them, and they were both smart and sweet. I wanted to throttle the mom trying to poison little Binky!

Speaking of the dog, Binky, I wanted to strangle the mother when she tried to hurt/kill him, that's one sick momma. Luckily Binky is alright and away from that deranged mother. JMO!!

I had to stop watching this movie because I knew what was coming with the dog. Why is it that anytime a movie has an animal as a pet something bad is going to happen? I know from reading this board that he was ok in the end but I just can't stand to watch any kind of animal abuse, real or not.

I agree! I am a cat person on the whole although I do want at least one dog some day and Binky would really be such a perfect dog to have! I was so upset with the mother character for stooping that low!

Watching this movie now.

The saddest part is when she tried to kill the dog. In fact, I am so glad they didn't actually kill the dog in the plot, I would have been so angry, lol.

PLUS HE'S SOOO CUTE.

Yeah honestly I thought the daughter was way too nice. I know she had compassion for her mom, and that the mom was messed up. But that girl put up with a LOT more from her mom than I would.

the dog is a west highland terrier. they are a terrier breed that is very cute. they were bred for hunting vermin, like rats and mice. they are very strudy little dogs that require a good grooming every once in awhile..but other than that they are really good little ones.

Binky is a cutie and I wouldv'e been so mad if he was seriously hurt. I thought it was funny when the mom said "I hope he doesn't try and sell him or something" when the vet took him. LOL!

The movie was just on tonight.Binky seems to has such a cute personality.When Mom told Binky to eat the rat poison ,I swear that dog said no.
