Usual Suspects *Spoilers* big time

Amazing how many details were stolen from "The usual suspects." First the only survivor of a massacre is the one recounting the story to the police and dr. Second the killing was motivated by revenge on a group who had committed a crime against the killer. Third the identity of the person recounting the flashbacks is not who they say they are. Fourth when the identity is revealed the Dr drops her cup on the floor much like the coffee cup is dropped after the revelation in TUS. Finally the killer is let go and just barely escapes before everything is put together. The final scene the killer getting picked up in a car and getting driven off. Is this all a coincidence? I dont think so.
