saw it yesterday

my husband & i went to see "noelle" in the theater yesterday (12/22/07) in huntsville, alabama. we were the only two people in the whole theater!! that was definitely quite enjoyable as we could talk to each other during/about the movie, etc...

i applaud them for making this little "indie" film & getting it shown in some theaters. i get so tired of the "little" man not being able to make anything of his self anymore in movies, politics, etc... usually if you do not have money, backing or a standing in whatever field it is then you can just hang it up. my husband & i did not see were it was "bashing" the catholic religion (we are not catholic).

it was a nice effort but definitely lacks the substance to really grab their audience. the acting by the two men who played the priests & the woman who was going to play mary is very impressive for "amateurs". the cinematography was beautiful, the only part (and an important part) missing was the first half of the movie. the first part was just "boring". the last half was quite enjoyable. i give it 6 out of 10!
