This is garbage

Just because you can afford to make a film, it doesn't mean you should. This movie was BAD. And it wasn't the fault of the actors. The storyline was extremely weak with an anti-climactic ending. We only get an "I didn't think I was worthy of love" explanation for why the male lead was so effed up. It doesn't fly. Also, the family dynamics were never explained. Although it is most likely that the male lead and his sister had two different fathers- one black, one white, it was never addressed. As if full blooded white males have black sisters all the time. I felt as if Jada, being the producer, just wanted to find a way to put herself into the film. Regardless of the difference in race, her portrayal of the role didn't seem natural. And her acting came off as bad. Now I know Jada is not a bad actor. As I've seen many of her films. But casting herself was a poor choice. She didn't fit or play the role well. Also, i thought people with open marriages only have physical relations with others and not emotional ones. Michael stated her husband was okay with the way she felt about the male lead. Huh? What type of open relationship is this? Why would she want to get in his head and his closet? The blonde girlfriend was a completely unrealistic character. She sees a beautiful woman waiting with her boyfriend at the bar, and felt no concern. Her bf throws up during sex, and her only thought is, maybe he's getting the flu. This same beautiful woman from the bar shows up at her bf's house unannounced, and she says hello and leaves them to be alone. WTF? Who wrote this sh*t? Oh I forgot....Jada Pinkett Smith.

The only thing good about it was the beautiful orchestration when the film ended. It was completely out of place and wasted here.
