Wow I was blown away. I have been wanting to see this because Michael Biehn is my favorite actor but I was shocked how great this film is. From the acting to story to originality I was floored. It's on amazon to rent so check it out. I'm watching it now for a third time in two days. Prepare to get emotional.

I'm a little bit offended by some of the negative comments about this film. It might not be the greatest movie ever but it's quite powerful and it's directed and written by someone I'd normally disregard. The cast was excellent and the performances were spot on, even the kids... and it had "biblical" rain and flooding, and that was carried off seamlessly. What's to criticize here? I have a new respect for connie stevens, michael biehn and tatum o'neal. Good story well told.
