It's like the end of Spartacus. I have seen that movie half a dozen times and I still don't know who the real Spartacus is. And that is what makes that movie a classic whodunit.
Yes it was appalling. One of those annoying movies where you have to crank the volume up to hear what they're saying and suddenly the 'action' scenes almost blow your eardrums out. Fgs is it so difficult to find a balance for the sound in these films?
