What's wrong with the date?

IMDB keeps going back and fourth from 2009 to 2008 and back again. Why is it doing that? Is it because everyone around the world is seeing it early this year expect for Scotland, Australia and California? That can't be right cause the update news on the sequel was discuss since last year so how did they finish it in time and show to almost every single country while the three decent ones need to wait for it next year?! It's confusing I don't understand it one bit!

Kung Fu Panda and Open Season are the best movies in the world, so why should I give a damn?

I think it's being released straight to DVD. Apparently it's not gonna make it to theaters, and they don't have the same actors, so keep that in mind so as not to be very disapointed.
