You know what I hope they do with this movie?
Actually release the musical score this time. If theres on thing that I didn't like about the original Open Season was how the soundtrack that Sony released included none of the wonderful score.
shareI'm not too crazy for the score they put in movies. It kinda bores me to death. If the sequel has a soundtrack coming out, I hope the music will be good. Too many sequels get crappy musical scores in their soundtracks.

I thought the score for the first one was decent. Besides, you're supposed to be spending more time paying attention to the story than the music!

shareI like it when the score is released separately from the pop songs etc that are in a film. That way the people who just like those kinds of songs can have them, and us score nerds can have the lovely background music we love. :)
You should subscribe for the newsletter at screenarchives.com, and get word of all the latest releases. I've found some great scores this way. There's also filmscoremonthly.com (screenarchives is their store) for news.
