Soundtrack is a shocker.

I've looked fwd to few music releases more than Yuvraaj in recent memory. The trailers looked that promising. But after listening to the entire soundtrack a couple of times today...this has to be Rahman's worst effort since...god knows when. But it's bad. 'Dil Ka Rishta' and 'Meri Dost Hain about the only tracks that can be called good. The rest, even if you remove the expectations that come from an ARR album, just sound so ordinary. MAJOR MAJOR disappointment.

really? I'm actually liking it a lot! I'm not big on Shano Shano, but I've been listening to Dil Ka Rishta, Tu Meri Dost Hai, and Mastam Mastam non-stop!
Want to know how I got these scars?

I had the exactly same emotions at the end of first day's hearing. I was so disappointed taht i went back to listen to Ada (whihc i think is the album of the year). But after about 4 days, i feel it's simply superb. I'm sure you'll have the same experience

Give it time...thats the beauty of Rahman's music... the more u listen, the more heavenly it sounds...

at first, I found it ordinary... but after a week, i cant stop playing it over and over again...this is a fine effort by Rahman.

I remember during the days of RDB, I used to listen to only one or two songs... but after a while I find each and every track absolutely stunning. especially a song like Luka Chhupi which people tend to skip.

advice... focus on music rather than lyrics.
