Being from Brooklyn, Flatbush Ave. no less, it really annoyed me that they didn't film the movie there. To top it all off they picked a neighborhood that looked nothing like Brooklyn Streets...seemed like a yuppy-ish place to live. If they would of filmed here the movie would of been off the hook!
shareIt could have helped if the setting were more realistic (probably VERY MUCH)but I'm guessing it was filmed on a set in California. They probably were limited financially in having to transfer the crew, cast and equipment to NY and would have to not only set up to film there, but would have to cordon off the areas in which they were filming and change certain elements (such as period vehicles and signs and billboards appropriate to like the 1970's) to give the proper time setting, etc. It would've been an expensive and time consuming undertaking for a tv movie.
