So...was Cassandra really a witch?

Apologies for the dumb question. I don't recall Cassandra doing anything supernatural, although communicating with the dog was cool. But most of the time she just helped people to cope with their issues.
On another note, Catharine Bell was perfect. I'd never heard of her before, but am now smitten!

woohoo a new Catherine Bell fan!!!

I suggest you watch the second Good Witch movie as well but i dont think they ever come out and state that she is a witch. I saw an interviw with Catherine Bell and she sort of said that its up to the individual viewer to decide whether or not they think she is a real witch.

I recommend you watch Still Small Voices and JAG... you will be ever more smitten with Catherine after that!!

Welcome to the Catherine Bell crush club, my friend. You really should check out JAG. Her character, Sarah "Mac" MacKenzie, was introduced in season 2 I think. She's the sexiest Marine you'll ever see.

Most skeptics are terrified it's all real and are desperate to prove otherwise.

she is so nice and beautifull!!! i think i would watch any movie she is in just for her!! the movie is good too!!!

You're preachin' to the converted here, lucifer9999. I'd watch her her read a phone-book. I was trying to remember a time-travel movie she did for either TBS or WGN. It was right after she had debuted in JAG. Anyone know it?

Think about it. If you were observing this nutty planet, would YOU make contact?

reply

Thrill Seekers.... in some countries it was called Timeshifters as well.

By George, I believe that's it, rissole65. My thanks to you, sir.

If you like Jim Carey movies, Bruce Almighty also stars Catherine Bell as an attractive news woman.

reply

Yes it was Season 2 "We the People". And I think she is

I think the title tells us she is.

Would you excuse me? I cut my foot before and my shoe is filling up with blood.

In "TGW's Garden", she and Jake are about to go into the shop, when the doors suddenly open for them. Jake says, "When did you get the automatic system?"
She says, "Hmm, I didn't!"
She has a way of suddenly appearing where you don't expect her, esp. after being seen yards away. You know, kinda like Edward Cullen, only nicer. So yeah, she's kinda "witchy".

reply

The movie is called The Good *Witch* so yes I'd say she is.

reply

I don't think it's silly.

I think the first movie was kind of deliberately ambiguous.
The other movies still never show her casting "spells" or brewing potions but give a little more hint that she probably is.

I guess they just didn't want to make it an "in your face" kind of thing. And it was probably a good call. The subtle approach seems to have been very successful.

reply

The subtlety and ambiguity are one of the many things that make the movies and series so good.
