No offense, but did you stop watching before they explained where the "boulder" came from? It wasn't a boulder, it was blue ice from a plane. I have no idea if they're ever that big (and it's hopefully not that common for blue ice to fall from a plane, as you'd presumably hear more about it, and I've only ever heard of it on TV). Even if this isn't a likely death, it didn't come out of nowhere.
Just looked at Wikipedia "at least 27 documented incidents of blue ice impacts in the United States between 1979 and 2003". I mostly just looked so I could link to what blue ice was.
