Don't waste your time with this indie film! SPOILERS!!!

The plot sounded so interesting: a man who was obviously unhappy with his marriage and his life escaped on 9/11 unharmed from one of the Twin Towers and disappeared to start a new life on the US West Coast.
How can any skilled movie director produce such a bad film which was mostly about a constantly drunk and miserable private detective? Only in the last third of the film we find out a little bit more about "The Missing Person".
This should have been called "The Drunk P. I." instead :).

If I could rate it zero stars, I would have done that instead of giving it 1 star.
This was such a waste of my time, but I watched it until the end even though after less than 30 minutes it was obvious to me that this was rubbish. Too bad I was right with my impression after having finished watching the entire film.

A mainstream movie director would have turned this fascinating plot into something worth watching (like "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close", another film about the aftermaths of 9/11).
But this movie was just awful, very boring and soooo sloooooooow.
I wonder why there are any movie production companies out there who enable a movie director to make such a useless film?
Yes, I agree, I'm not very fond of indie movies with very few exceptions like "The Straight Story" or "Fargo", but the plot description sounded so promising that I thought I'd give it a try.
I cannot recommend it at all.
