Decent idea, but the format doesn't work for me.

I love that this program encourages reading, problem-solving, and friendship, but I think the creators should have spent more than 5 minutes developing this idea. Instead of trying to solve a problem when it happens, they leave the scene (which is often a mess). I'm fine with them fixing problems in stories, but why do they have to change stories? There's already a lesson to be learned in many of the stories they feature, but they change it to fit their TV show. Like I said, it's a decent idea, but I think they're missing the mark.

Actually, I like the idea of them being able to change the story. It's not the story doesn't have a lesson for them to learn already, but sometimes the story doesn't fit the needs of the character at the time. For example, in a story about Santa, Santa stood on top of a house, waiting. The story said he had to use a chimney, but there was no chimney for him to use, so by the Super Readers changing the story, Santa was able to use a ladder.
The lesson of the story didn't change (Santa comes on Christmas because it makes kids happy), but the character was able to continue their story with a little help.
