Honey Pie WTF????? spoiler

Seriouly, why put her in the movie if she dies within minutes? Granted what she did causes characters to die in such movies but since Feast is so anti-cliche she should have lived.

Don't want to have her in whole movie? Fine, kill her off in Feast 2 (she doesn't get up after being hit by metal piece) or have her leave town after she gets up, her fate unknown.

I found this trilogy as I was looking for something Jenny Wade was in (loved her in Reaper) and I was hoping she'd live in Feast 3. Putting her in for 5 minutes just so you can list her in credits is BS, specially since she was in other two parts.

Hello......................She is in part 2 and dies at the end of part 2 (literally her dead body is shown while the credits happen....and the fact that part 3 and part 2 were filmed back to back it would only make sense to show her death as a sort of "recap" as to what is going on.

I suggest you re-watch the end credits of Feast II, foshizzle, because she gets up at the end of them, revealing her to be very much alive (for the next five minutes, at least).

funnier still is the fact she's on the cover of Part 3...dead center looking all bad ass. i just thought that was hilarious of them to raise your expectations that way. i pretty much figured she'd die in 3 but i thought she'd have a good 10-15mins at least. i laughed my ass off when she died less than a minute into the movie. (not counting the part 2 recaps).

I think that was the point of doing what they did. They are very anti cliche and surprising that this was one of the ways to do it. Shock treament, and look its worked, whole threads about this exact fact.

Janet leigh in Psycho

All three of these films, to me, seemed to take a lot of little things from other horror movies. The first one reminded me of Maximum Overdrive a little, and the second had a little bit of Tremors in it, I have to finish watching the third. But, throughout all the movies I found loads of little nods to other wonderful horror movies.

Im not saying having Honey Pie die in the begining is exactly the same as Psycho, but the audience has been following Honey Pie for two movies now, put her all badass on the poster, thats just to mislead the audience so its more of a surprise when she dies, just like it was to see Janet Leigh, the leading lady of Psycho die in the first act of the movie.

At least thats how I see it.

I was disappointed with her not being in the rest of the movie, I could care less what her character did in the first film, I thought she was the highlight of Feast II.

"I could care less what her character did in the first film"

So you DO care.

(hint for stupid people: if you 'could care less' then there's still some margin of care. Whereas 'could NOT care less' indicates there's no margin for care)

you probably didnt get the point of a movie like this: going against usual horror standards. she did survive the 2nd part, but she got killed off at the beginning of the 3rd cuz filmmakers wanted you to believe she was the main char

reply

Jesus!

That was one of the best parts of the film. A return to the superbly unexpected, anyone can die anytime, attitude of the first film.

The 2nd unexpected death is even better, again a genius moment that brought back memories of the fantastic first film more than the pretty dire Part 2.

Honey Pie's death was a good shock but I hated seeing her die in this movie. Pretty much all the characters I liked died and Bartender was the only one left so I can understand why some people are disappointed with this one. Feast 3 is in no way better than th second one and the first one is STILL the best.

I had to laugh at the prolonged nature of Honey Pie's fate; someone seemed to want to make a point here! Anyone who thinks her death comes too early in the film needs to re-watch the first two. I, too, hated to see her finally go, but I respect the decision of the filmmakers to kill her off, and leave Bartender alive.

Just to see her get crapped out made the movie for me. The symbolism alone.... HAHAHAHAHA
