Could this movie have been worse ?

Somehow I doubt it. The story was so cliche as to be ridiculous. The acting was atrocious (though Michele Morrow was somewhat passable as the heroine). The script is so unintelligent and ultimately unbelievable as to make me incapable of enjoying any of it. Whoever dreamed this up clearly must have spent a night watching every slasher flick, major and minor, made over the past three decades and rolling the cliches from each without even attempting to capture the brio and occasional innovation of the best of them. The police station scene is a particular howler, as is the utterly ridiculous climax. There's literally nothing redeeming about this movie, and it will be completely forgotten very soon. That is absolutely as things should be.
