Vigo1987 is a very stupid poster and didn't make any sense whatsoever. He apparently has no idea about basic sentence structure, or grammar, and didn't impress me at all.

He's just a stupid poster, so don't waste your time paying attention to him.

Sell crazy someplace else, we're all stocked up here.

Firstly i am not here to impress anyone, specially YOU. Secondly you just wasted your time by replying to my post. Thirdly, mind your own business and don't judge people on there grammer or writting skills. Fourthly, don't poke your dirty little nose into every little thing thats there on the internet and get a life, a real life and not a virtual life online.

I was just doing what you were doing Vigo. You did it with a movie, I did it with someone who posts on the forum. So if I have no life, that must mean that neither do you, since we did the same thing. Oh...but I made it about you. So that makes me an ass. However, when you direct those comments to others, you are entitled to your opinion. I forgot, those rules don't apply when comments are being made about you. Silly me.

I'll agree that the movie has some stupid humor, which I like. But I think it has it's moments where there is more subtle humor too. I would say it was a good movie.

It's also pretty much what I expected it to be after I saw it was written by one of the people who co-wrote the South Park movie (along with various episodes and Team America: World Police.)

I thing Vigo's point was to supply his opinion. Albeit, poorly spelled and grammatically structured. Which is why most people come to these boards, to find the opinions of others. Some for reference as to whether they should see a movie and others to find like minded individuals who agree with their opinion of the movie.

The reason his opinion (again as poorly made as it was) is OK and the brutal, mean-spirited assault on his post is NOT OK is that his post was about the film, while the others were personal attacks about his por use of the English language.

These boards are exactly for people to proffer their thoughts on movies, and NOT to attack each other personally for their ideas.

criticize the way he expressed himself, not his opinion.

If, foe example he had said, Hamlet 2 is a parody film that ultimately parodies so many films that it must ultimately becomes one of the very films it attempts to ridicule, he would have had a more legitimate point.

If he'd said the yuk-yuk humor of the script does disservice to the fine cast assembled and turns them into cardboard cut-outs of themselves, he would, perhaps, have even been insightful. Furthermore if he'd pointed out that the jokes in the film were wrung dry of anything fresh or interesting by the writers in their day jobs on South Park 5 seasons ago, he would have been spot on.

but since he said 9I'm paraphrasing) this movie sux. he comes off a little weak

We get it, he hated the movie. However this still is the internet, so his poorly worded and shallow attempt to express his opinion is completely open to being ridiculed. Unless they changed the rules of the internet and nobody told me?

I completely disagree by the way. I thought it was pretty funny. It was an OBVIOUS pastiche of cardboard cutout characters. Every person in the movie is interchangeable with the characters of a dozen other such one dimensional movies. Except for the lead who completely made the movie worthwhile. I understand where people may not like this movie, but to lump it in with the movies it lampoons, or to in any way say it is typical is to miss the entire movie.

I just watched the first 20 minutes, then stopped it. Totally waste of time.

i agree. this was stupid, the story is garbage, the jesus jokes are uncalled for, in fact, the jesus character does not make any sense in the movie, nor in the play, the plot is so weak, they use cheap tricks (the play audiance reactions) to manipule the viewer's opinion. But i loved it. "Simultanious horrified and fascinated".

First time I watched it, I was like "OK, not bad". Then I watched a second time, then I've watched the final section (the actual play) every night for the last 2 weeks.

It's a classic.

I dare you, watch it again, you will laugh your nuts/boobs (as applicable) off.
