Cut in the UK? (According to the IMDB page)

Anyone know if this is true, and if so, what cuts were made?

The problem was that the original version submitted to the BBFC contained several aggressive uses of very strong language, including a scene of violence in which a man hits a guy in various ways while aggressively and repeatedly saying the c-word.

The guidelines for language at '15' (which the distributor requested) state that "the strongest terms...may be acceptable where justified by context. Aggressive or repeated use of the strongest language is unlikely to be acceptable", and in the midst of this violent action it was felt that these uses of this word broke this rubric and had to be removed to avoid an '18'. Now they are either not present at all or are masked by the fight sounds.

Four other uses of this word remain, but they could be justified in their contexts, and were thus unaffected.

So? An '18' rating would only help a film like this, not hinder it.
Most Brit crime films are '18' and suffer not one bit because of it....Should have simply accepted an uncut '18'.

I have to say after seeing the finished movie, i think the filmakers got it right, making it a 15 opens up the audience, and to be honest missing someone say the word c_nt 5 times in succession doesnt effect the integrity of the film at all.
