This movie is BELOW a straight to video movie

To some degree, it is expected that a straight to video movie is going to be sub par compared to their big budget brothers and sisters released in theaters. But this thing, whoa Nelly! This is one of the worst movies to ever be enclosed in a DVD case. The acting, dialogue, CGI, story... all aweful. Karen David as Layla was not too bad, also Simon Quarterman as Ari the poet was not bad either. In fact, all the other actors made Simon sound like a veteran Shakespearean stage actor by comparison. I know, the budget for this movie was very small. But maybe they should have spent more money on a decent screenplay because a well written story can cover over bad acting, bad CGI, and a lot of other short comings.
