I have a question for Dali fans *Spoiler*

Hey I thought this movie was kind of slow but there were a lot of parts that touched me & I think the acting was outstanding. Javier Beltran was seriously amazing & I was in tears at his fate. He really made you care about Lorca. (I knew nothing of the characters before seeing this movie) My question is for hardcore Dali fans. I want to determine whether Pattinson's performance was authentic or not. I'm not talking about his looks or accent. I'm talking about his mannerisms, his facial expressions, & the inflections in his speech patterns. Was that how Dali really behaved? Was the performance believable? I've watched a few videos of Dali but they are all of him in his older years & it seems Pattinson did him justice. From what I've seen & read Dali was an eccentric provoking man, yet shy & captivating. Please I'd like to hear from true Dali fans how they feel about Pattinson's portrayal. And please don't say 'oh i hated him cuz he's from Twilight.'

IDK the answer myself, I just know this question has come up in the past and there was a response that people who knew Dali as a young man said Pattinson was "spot on" (my words, not sure these were exact words) in portraying him. Accent (fluctuating..) mannerisms, etc.

Part vampire. Part giant.
Vagiant.

I've noticed that when Dali spoke French or Spanish, he spoke normally. It's when he spoke English he would speak in Dali-nese.
