A Little Gem of Rational Thought

Peter: “Finished?”

Sam: “I don’t know. This place is still hiding something. The blueprints are wrong, I mean, nothing corresponds.”

Peter: “Okay, look, I find this place as fascinating as you do, but waking up with a dead dog as a houseguest makes me think, ‘Perhaps it’s time to go.’”

I was stunned by this little gem of rational thought, especially in a horror movie. I might be asking too much when I want to see characters in horror movies behave intelligently (or at least, believeably), but every great once in a while, one of them proves they can at least still talk the talk.
