A few thing lately have peaked my interest.
The release of Tron: Run/R
Re-releasing the TL soundtrack on 2 x 10" Identity Discs (which sold out in minutes btw)
The Shanghai Tron Ride
and the Official Tron Facebook page is constantly being updated , are they tracking this for potential interest in a third movie? Let's hope so
It canceled. They cancelled it for good. After Star Wars being a success I doubt they would back tron.
shareAfter Alice Through the Looking Glass failure, they are not green lighting Tron movie anytime soon.
Like Alice, Tron would be getting a too late sequel and like Alice Tron made it's money off the back of Avatar fueled 3D hype and like Alice everyone realized that Tron was a shallow movie that was only good for it's visuals as the time went on. A Tron Legacy follow-up would be a huge bomb.
lifes_too_short is right. Disney are tracking interest for a 3rd .
