Yes, as the other poster replied, it is "Waiting for my real life to begin." It's off of the album "Going Somewhere"...in case you want to buy it.

shareYay! I was hoping someone would have already addressed this.. I was sure that song had to be Colin Hay; such a distinctive voice. I've heard his solo stuff is good (and also heard a bit of it on Scrubs), now I think I'll have to check it out. :)

Curiously, here the song at the end of the episode (scene where he finds Mick dead) is certainly not the one by Colin Hay. It's "I'll Be Fine", by Erick Macek.
No way why they changed it here...
