I go to Columbia College in Chicago and I saw the film trucks and trailers all down Wabash between about Harrison and 8th street. I asked a security guard and he told me they were filming a show for A&E on the roof of the Hilton. This was about two weeks ago!
Also my roommate met Patrick Swayze by Caribou coffee near 8th and Wabash and he waved at her! LOL.

Last week I saw him and he waved back at me too and then I ran over to him and he signed the back of one of my spiral notebooks I was carrying. I told him how much I loved his movies and he just nodded and smiled and then he asked what I was studying at school and then he said "Best of luck to you", and patted me so kindly on the back of my shoulder! To be that close to him was an awesome experience! I wished him well too and then somebody in the film crew came over and directed his attention elsewhere. What a kind man! I will never ever forget the day I met Patrick Swayze! I was running late to one of my classes and when I got there, all excited, I showed everyone why I was late, my spiral, and they were all oohhing and awwwing...but as usual, my stuffy professor remained unimpressed. Oh well. Patrick sure will have a lasting impression on me!!
