The show ended with a set up for Patrick to be gone for awhile, If he does get better they can do a movie to bring closure to the show.

In my opinion they should motage material from the tv series, filming some new material with Travis Fimmel, and montage from this material a good cinema movie, then maybe Patrick Swayze will get Oscar not for lead but for supporting role, like Heath Leadger!
PS. Patrick Swayze was great actor, he was a Gene Kelly our times! Patrick Swayze was one of the best actors from 1980 to 1995, when he play in really good movies, he was great!!! He deserved Oscar!!!
