Confusion over 'Previously on The Beast...'

I think it was before the Bitsy Big-Boy episode (or whatever it was called) that they ran a "previously..." clip which featured a scene with Swayze approaching a woman on a bench with a gun and speaking angrily. The woman was the same woman who was on the CTA train in episode 1 when the posse of agents cornered Ellis and revealed to him that he was being recruited to be a double-agent against Barker. She was the lead agent. In a subsequent episode, it was alluded to that she had been canned or otherwise removed from the assignment because Ellis did not cooperate.

My question is this... Previously on The Beast? I never saw that scene of Swayze approaching her on that bench. I am certain I have seen every episode so far, and IMDb confirms this. So what happened? Did I accidentally zip through a scene on my DVR? I definitely never saw that scene, so if anyone here can help me figure out this mystery, it would be much appreciated.

I'm confused about that too.

The scene was from a one time airing of the premier which was sponsored and ran with limited comercials. When it was aired in subsequent repeats it had to be cut down to fit the normal running time of the show, with the added comercial breaks. I believe the full show might be found on iTunes.

i Like this show alot, but sometimes it's a bit confusing and maybe a litle jumbled at times. am I the only one that noticed this.

No you are not the only one. The show sucked. Not only were there continuity issues, poor editing, bad lighting, but they also managed to have film crew in many scenes. The shoddy production value is all Hollywood was willing to give Swayze at the end. He was known as a difficult person to work with and his acting was never up to par. He called in a few favors and used his illness to sell this piece of garbage of a show, so he could leave some money to his wife.

Glad you asked that question because I'm in exactly the same position. I stopped watching for a few weeks and was confused by the recap before episode 5. Just to make things worse, the official website states that 'Mercy', listed as episode 8 on imdb, is actually episode 5 which made me think that the reason I didn't recognise the recap was that I was watching them out of sync. I'm still confused because the recap on 'Mercy' actually seems to fit better as episode 5 than 'Bitsy Big-Boy', however I'm gonna assume that the people on this board know what they're talking about and the recap problem is down to bad editing.

Let me know if you worked it out.

I've been watching the show on hulu.com and I liked it. It's not something I am used to seeing Patrick Swayze in but it was good. I watched it with Mercy as the 5th episode and I think you're right. It really works there. You can watch all of the episodes on hulu.com.

I can confirm that in Italy "Mercy" is being aired as the 5th episode, after "Nadia".
