I think both of you are right! Don't loose hope though, there are about 5 empty slots left for the talent that wil appear on the show. My guess is that they will keep them secret until the actual event. Cates has a tendency to not release all of the presenters so that there will be a little element of surprise left. The list of presenters booked so far are:

After giving it some thought. I realize some of these people may be introducing films or clips. Dempsey may be taking part in one of the songs w/ Amy Adams. I just hope they have a few BIG surprises. I await.

It was Just announced that Jack Nicholson will return for the third time in a row as a presenter at this sundays Academy Awards. He presented best picture at both the 78th and 79th ceremonies. I personally don't think he will give out Best Picture again! But who knows?
