For next year's host

Don't know why, and this is just a thought, but how bout having Quentin Tarantino as the host for next year.

Mace Windu Survived Star Wars
Mr. Pink survived Reservoir Dogs
Hicks survived Alien 3

Ugh -- why? The man is insufferable.

I really liked Ellen De Generes she was excellent

For me, Steve Martin is the guy who needs to return; his opening monologue in 2003 was the best since the glory days of Billy Crystal.

I have to say Steve Martin is the best host I've ever seen on the Oscars, I would love to see him come back. I love John Stewart, but matter how serious he is in offering congratulations, he always looks like he's being sarcastic, which is a big problem in a show like this...

reply

WE NEED BILLY AGAIN
he's truly awesome

reply

How about Stephen Colbert? He and Jon Stewart definetely clock in as two very hilarious hosts...

reply

Robin Williams.

reply

Robin williams would be sweet, he's won an oscar and is a very funny man

reply

How about Billy to open; Whoopi or Robin to close.

Maybe Jay Leno once he leaves NBC. He's never done the Oscars and he couldn't be any worse than the last 5 go rounds.

reply

I disagree on Robin Williams being the host. I wouldn't be able to sit through all that madness.

The most important thing is: no more Chris Rock.
The man was SO unfunny and irritating at the same time...

How about Conan O'Brien? He's funnier than Stewart. :D

Billy Crystal or Steve Martin should return. If they get a first timer i think conan o brian would be great.

I really like Jon Stewart. I think he´s better than the others I´ve seen (Steve Martin, Ellen, Rock and even Billy).
But if you really want to have a funny-smart-impro guy, call Robbin Williams. I would even see the commercials with him. i wouldn´t care if the show runs 6 hours.
Jim Carrey is another similar choice.
