Robert Downey jr

I didn't think anybody would agree with me. I think he deserves a nomination for Tropic Thunder for best supporting actor. I'd like the best supporting actor race to be between Downey for Tropic Thunder, Heath Ledger for The Dark Knight and James Franco Pineapple Express. Then I'd actually watch the oscars. But getting back to Downey, as much as he deserves it he won't get it because the old, insular codgers in the academy don't recognize comedy. Which is a shame because the oscars are increasingly irrelevant.
