I think people are too harsh on this movie. I watched it with really low expectations and ended up digging the movie. The ending was not a bad ending either. Think about it. I don't think it was the movie critics and other people were expecting, that's why they didn't like it. I usually don't waste my time defending movies on the internet but I'm telling you, don't listen to all the haters of this movie. Give it a shot with an open mind.
shareI agree. I watched it on cable this weekend and I thought it was pretty good. Sarah Silverman stole every scene she was in, she was awesome. I also liked Michael C. Hall and Rain Wilson. It was great to see Leslie Anne Warren, she looked hot.
The only characters that slowed the movie down were the brother who wrote the book and his assistant.
I was pleasantly surprised with Sarah Silverman's performance.

I agree with this, I enjoyed it all the way through and also didn't expect a masterpiece, I really didn't expect anything, I find it's always best that way
It seems every movie that I hear is amazing falls short of my expectations, since I'm expecting an above average movie, and when people are saying that a movie was a let down, I usually find myself quite enjoying it because I'm going into it thinking it's not going to be good
