Anyone reminded of GP 506?

This movie was similar to GP 506, a korean movie that came out a couple years ago, because of some weird force, a sole survivor in a military camp/post, etc, both entertaining and both movies could have been a bit better and both are also loosely based on true events, both are semi horror, semi thriller, tension building and focused around paranormal events bringing mania upon soldiers and everyone ending up dead. I have seen people mention that Red Sands is similar to the movie R-Point, and the guy who directed R-Point directed GP 506 as well.
